One Limb At A Time.

My mission for this blog will be to highlight North Branch Tree and Landscape's adventures through the many canopies of trees my company serves and protects.  North Branch is a full service arboricultural firm specializing in the residential realm of the tree and landscape industry.  Not only will I keep you up to date on our current projects and discoveries in the landscape through this blog, but also on recreational adventures I may undertake, thoughts and advice I may have on different climbing techniques, mistakes I make or any other philosophical propaganda I can throw your way.

An Introduction of myself:
My name is T.C. Mazar, owner of North Branch Tree and Landscape LLC. I am a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. I have been climbing trees for six years and hope to continue doing so for another sixty.  I also work in house at Fox Hill Country Club as the staff Arborist and Horticulturalist.  Doubled-rope technique (used with a hitch climber friction system) set through a retrievale false crotch is my go-to climbing system when possible.  I will utilize a single-rope technique when necessary on long hauls or choked off when gaffing, I gaff trees only on removals, or when clearing for scenic views, utilities or right of ways in remote locations, I love cammed ascenders, and someday I hope that I can afford a trip to climb the highest tree in the world.
I am fully insured and willing to take on sub-contracts with larger
companies that may need the service of an independent climber.  My favorite tree is the Sycamore.  My favorite saw is my Silky Sugoi.  My favorite jobs are crown cleanings and many times I climb trees for no reason at all.

If anything, I hope that I can get this point across through sharing my tree climbing experience: the only thing I can really do is take things one limb at a time...and every once and a while stop to enjoy the view.  Stay tuned in, and tuned up.
